Having a Crack in the Heart

College life and I am now studying in De La Salle University. My life here in La Salle has been really fun and amazing especially because of my blockmates. So far, what I like about college are my schedule and my course. The fact that my course is Business Management and it doesn't necessarily focus on any subject, all our lessons are just the basics... basic algebra, basic accounting, basic anthropology, and many more basics. I also like my schedule because at times I go home early and at times, I start school late too.

So, where's the crack in the heart there? Well, I came from Ateneo de Manila University. So yes, it does feel weird that I went from blue to green. There are many reasons as to why there is a crack in my heart, but that crack doesn't mean it hurts. It means that now, I just don't choose one; I choose two. Weird, I know, but that's life. Sometimes we must move to other places in order to learn more not just what is around us.

Anyways, on my way home, I was dropped off at Petron Katipunan by my blockmate. It felt just like the old days as I went walking along Katipunan Avenue just to get to the other end where the jeeps were because I had to commute all the way home. Deep down, I do miss my old 'turf', but I am still thankful that I now have a new university with new friends.
